Part of the reason Gem is so shy is because being a squirrel she hasnt cut her first tooth yet. But today is special. Today her first tooth poked through and even though its uncomfortable even though its giving her great discomfort Gem is sooo very very happy because she feels like maybe she can start being a squirrel now. Chewing things is one of her main hobbies and now with a tooth she is going to be able to create quite some damage.
Maybe now some people might want her in their family. She has always felt a bit of an outcast so now maybe her new tooth might give her a bit of confidence
