GUESS WHAT MOVIE I WATCHED ON T.V. THE OTHER NIGHT~? 8D
Sarge and Fillmore from the movie Cars...I used to draw these guys non-stop in my humanized versions, but then I stopped...and now I started up again!
They're honestly one of my favorite OTPs, just because I love how different they are from the other. What's more contrasting than a hippie and a Vietnam Vet~? WHAT?
Anyway....lets explain some of these shall we~?
Top left corner: Just them touching noses...nothing else really
Top right corner: Some Sarge-related expressions. Angry, surprised, and sad.
Middle left: Fillmore-related expressions, same three as Sarge's. Its important to point out that these two show their feelings in very different ways. Sarge is quick to flash his anger, and is easily startled (years of being in the military made him a bit paranoid), however when he's about to cry, he doesn't let anyone see. Usually by closing his eyes, grinding his teeth, and taking deep breaths. It's not that he thinks crying is unmanly, it's more that he's embarrassed to let anyone see him with 'soft' emotions.
Fillmore on the other hand, is so laid back that if you shocked him, he probably wouldn't react as much. Anger wise, he has a long fuse, but is Sarge manages to do something insensitive or rude (like using slurs when talking about minorities), he'll give him that 'I'm not happy' look, which instantly shuts him up.
Bottom left: A cigar and a joint making a smoke heart, and the words War & Peace...I think you can figure those out.
Middle: Sarge and Fillmore without shirts...just...just cause.
Big picture: Sarge and Fillmore in army-ish clothing... This is based on a fan fic I never got around to writing but may someday...an AU where Fillmore is drafted into the army and meets Sarge for the first time. Sarge, of course, hates him automatically because of his lax and easy-going nature. Fillmore thinks he's pretty cute and starts to flirt, causing Sarge to feel rather uncomfortable, and as he's about to report him, Fillmore actually saves his life by stopping him before he accidentally stepped on a land mine. Now Sarge is in Fillmore's debt and...well Fillmore has an interesting idea for how he can pay him back~<3
Maybe I;ll draw more of these two in the future....or maybe not...depends on your response~
