Forgot to post it! Quick watercolor painting I did for Bassy's Mother on Christmas. There's a lot of hummingbirds in Guadalajara and she's feeding em with special «nectar» mix of water and natural sugars. Violet-crowned are most common to see around the house and most aggressive - they can guard feeders and fight with every other hummingbirds trying to drink from them.
I also was able to touch these small things twice when they accidentally flew in the house through open main door and got lost in rooms!
