the snow at least gives sense to the winter. thats why my winters are horrible: we NEVER have snow, just grey boring short days.

Mm. Same here, unfortunately. I appreciate the cold winds and rain a lot, but...snow would add a lot to such a lovely season.

as a patagonian, i should love the winter. but most of my family lives in a subtropical province and i visited them non stop by around 36 consecutive summers, so 35 C is no big deal for me (i survived to 46 once!). usual people of my city considers everything up 25 as the sun surface

Yeah, 35+ is warm but people like us are used to it because of where we're from; things don't get hot-hot til the 40's XP

And yet, even so, I love winter so much more. It's such a cozy time, yeah? Blankets, hot tea, deep thinking...appeals more.

the winter here usually is 2-8 C. but could move between -7 c to amazing 23 C

0-20 sounds the ideal range. You are in the same situation as here, getting those Antarctic winds at times. Nice and chilly~

yeah, the fun is that you leave just 15 kms from the city and the temperature changes brutally to even -25 C in the worst days, mostly 0 to minus 12. The sea shield definitly works!!

you are crazy xD i would froze in 5 mins there XD i know because i went to take photos of my tanks a few kms outside my city and a couple times the threads of the tanks froze against the floor XD
