A picture of my character Mamoru Vanguard, the father of Ike Vanguard. Along with other pictures I've done of him since I started using Gimp.

This is my practice on "Vanguard Mamoru" or Mamoru at his Prime Power. He reaches this state when Marisa his wife, gifted him with some of her power before her death. This unlocked Mamoru's Hidden Power and increased his life-span so he could live a long life for all his sacrifice.
This allowed Mamoru to protect his son Ike and later, on his return to Mobius, get to have a family with Silo the Cat Valkyrie.

His left eye turned blue, after the transfer of power. It like a sign that Marisa is watching over him and his family.
