This is my Biker Mice From Mars character/fursona, Whitewolf, and her cyber/warbike, "Wyldfyre". This is my first pic of her and her bike, and I'm rather proud of it. But maybe I should just toss in a bit of her/their history with this, as well.
Whitewolf, or as her friends and family usually call her, Wolf, is the younger sister of Throttle, and cousin to Vinnie and Modo (The Biker Mice are all blood-related to each other in my currently-in-progress fanfics ), and is a valued and much-loved member of the Biker Mice team and family. She is calm, conscientious, wise beyond her years, brave, selfless and fiercely loyal to her family, friends and teammates. Like her older brother and her cousins, though, she has a bit of a temper, which sometimes comes out very strongly and clearly when those she loves are threatened in any way. She loves being around her bros, as she calls them, and would do anything for them, even though Throttle sometimes gets on her nerves with his "Overprotective Big Brother" act, as she calls it. That said, she would gladly lay down her life for him, Vinnie, Vinnie's younger identical twin brother, Aaron (also a fan-character of mine) Modo, Charley, her (Wolf's) Martian Moragg-Gi best friend and partner, Shiningflame (or just plain "Flame", for short), Flame's younger sister, Icestorm ("Ice"), and their cousin, Firefrost ("Frost"; all three of whom are ALSO mine) and anyone else that she's close to...and this has since come to include the Ninja Turtles, Master Splinter, April and Casey. As Throttle often puts it in reference to his little sis, "If you're someone that she calls "friend", consider yourself VERY lucky".
As far as the rest of Wolf's history goes, she's about Vinnie and Aaron's age, but a month or two older. She's also a trained Freedom Fighter (same as her bros), and in a surprise twist, she's also one of Mars' few remaining trained Ninjas, belonging to one of only TWO Ninja Clans remaining on Mars, the Star Dragon Clan (the other is called the Moonwind Clan) . She takes this JUST as seriously as her duties as an Freedom Fighter, but actually a bit more so, being as she began her Ninja training a LOT earlier than she did her Freedom Fighter training. (She was about 7 or 8 years old at the time.) And, as she herself will tell you, Martian style Ninjitsu is a WHOLE lot different than that of Earth on some ways. For one thing, while Terran/Earth/Japanese ninjas are known to have traditions of it running back centuries in certain families; Martian Ninjas don't. In fact, there are only one or two families in all of Mars who have a history of that type of ninjitsu going back that far, or farther (the Moonwind family is one, that ALSO being the name of the other Martian Ninja clan). For the most part, a Martian becomes a Ninja only because he or she WANTS to, NOT because it's an ancient family traditon, like in Japan.
This was basically what happened with Wolf. She became a Martian Ninja because, even at that early age of her life, the practice of it fascinated her, and she liked their ideal of honor and admired their sense of discipline. Thusly, she continues to practice the art even though she has since joined the ranks of the Martian Resistance in order to serve and protect her people. And it has served her, her teammates, and her people very well over the course of the Martian/Plutarkian War and subsequent Plutarkian Occupation of Mars.
Wolf's Sensei and master, Master Sandstorm, is a Mouse of exceptional skill, courage and high honor whom she greatly respects and loves every bit as much as she does her own father, and holds him in the same high regard. There is little that she won't do for him, within reason. But then, Master Sandstorm has never been one to ask her to do something that he would't do himself. In point of fact, he is to Wolf what Master Splinter is to the Ninja Turtles, all of whom Wolf meets during the course of a recon-mission to New York City (this is covered in the BMFM/TMNT crossover fanfic that I'm currently working on, so I ain't about to give anything away. Sorry.).
Wolf's weapons are fairly simple: she carries her family's ancestral sword, "Shadowstorm", at her back, in a scabbard slung over her right shoulder (in much the same way Leonardo carries his katanas), a single sai in the right side of her belt (it, and "Shadowstorm", both belonged to her illustrious namesake, the original Whitewolf, but the sai's twin was lost long centuries ago, before Wolf herself was ever born), her ancestor's hunting knife in a sheath on the outside of her right boot, several types of shuriken (both Martian AND Terran) secreted in various places on her person (mostly in the pockets of her vest), and, last but not least, she wears a gunbelt and holster similar to her brother's around her waist and strapped to her left thigh. Inside is the standard-issue purple-and-red Martian-type phased-plasma blaster, an exact duplicate of the one that Throttle himself carries, and that she was given when she joined the Resistance. The main difference between them, however, is that Throttle likes his blaster and wouldn't think of being without it for any reason, and Wolf dislikes hers intensely, prefering her Ninja weaponry (she's a lot like Leonardo in this respect). She dislikes firearms a lot in general (although she concedes she doesn't mind them on her bike), because, in her mind, they aren't a TRUE warrior's weapon. Consequently, she prefers the ancient weapons, like the sword, sai, knife; etc....something she also shares in common with Leo, whom she develops a tremendous amount of respect for. She does, however, also concede, albeit VERY reluctantly, that her enemies, and those of her people, don't bother with the old weapons much, if at all. The Plutarkians being a major point of her concession. She also knows that you sometimes have to fight fire with fire, and use things...or weapons...that you would ordinarily despise in order to stay alive. And so she does.
Her best friend (outside Flame and Throttle, that is) is her warbike, "Wyldfyre". The powerful, Martian-built bike is an exact duplicate of Throttle's bike, "Lady", being jet-back in color, with the minor difference that "Lady's" fuel-tank is half-silver and half-black, and "Wyldfyre's" is painted to look like it's engulfed in flames, with "his" name, "Wyldfyre", painted on it, on both sides, in dark metallic-blue. And don't anybody try to tell me that I spelled "Wyldfyre" wrong, please. That's the way WOLF chose to spell it herself. Makes it rather distinctive, don'tcha think?
Anyway, I decided to include a short (hah!) run-down on Wolf's vital statistics, so here goes:
NAME: Whitewolf.
NICKNAME(S): Wolf (or Wolfie. But only Michelangelo can get away with calling her this and still stay alive and healthy. No one has yet figured out why.)
CLAN/FAMILY-NAME: Secret. For now. Sorry.
MARTIAN NINJA CLAN: The Clan Of The Star Dragon.
HER RANK WITHIN THE STAR DRAGON CLAN: Wolf is a Ninja of the White Dragon Rank. This is the ranking just BELOW the High Master (Terran equivalent: Grand Master) in a Martian Ninja clan, and is VERY high, indeed.
The trials you have to go through to attain White Dragon Rank are VERY difficult, both physically AND spiritually, and therefore only THE most disiplined of Martian Ninjas CAN attain it. (Wolf once gave Leo the VERY great compliment of telling him that HE would be considered of White Dragon Rank if he were on Mars, a compliment that HE takes VERY seriously, and gratefully, naturally) Consequently, there are VERY few Martian Ninjas who attain that high rank in their entire lifetime. Wolf is one, her master, Master Sandstorm, is another, and there are only two or three others outside the two of them who hold it. The only DOWN-side to it is that Wolf's bitterest, and most hated enemy (who shall remain nameless here, for MANY reasons), ALSO holds that rank. Something that irritates Wolf to no end, even though she knows that she (her enemy) long ago earned it.
AGE: 23 years old.
HEIGHT: 5'4" tall.
WEIGHT: 120 to 125 lbs. (approx.).
FUR-COLOR: A soft, clear, snowy-white.
HAIR-COLOR: Jet-black, almost blue-black, in certain lights. Reaches almost to the base of her tail. It's long, in other words. Also has a small lock of hair in her bangs that seems to be irritatingly insistant about hanging constantly down in her eyes, or between them. Consequently, she's forever pushing it OUT of her eyes. She also wears what she calls a "warrior's braid" in front of her left ear, while letting the lock in front of her right ear hang loose and free (it ISN'T braided, in other words).
WEAPONS: Her sword, "Shadowstorm", a single sai, her hunting knife, various shuriken, and, of course, her blaster.
GIFTS/POWERS: Wolf is considered special even among her own people, because, in addition to being a trained Ninja and Freedom Fighter, she is ALSO a trained, skilled and gifted Healer (think Leetah of "Elfquest"). And, in addition to THAT, she is ALSO what her people call a "TruthSeer". Meaning she has the ability to "see" things about other people. Unlike her other skills and Gift, her ability to "TruthSee" ISN'T one that she uses very often. Only when she has to.
RIDE: Her beloved cyber/warbike, "Wyldfyre".
FRIENDS: Her older brother, Throttle; her cousins, Vinnie, Aaron and Modo; her human friend Charley Davidson; her Moragg-Gi teammates Shiningflame, Icestorm and Firefrost; her beloved Sensei, Master Sandstorm; and last, but certainly NOT least Master Splinter, The Ninja Turtles, April O'Neil and Casey Jones.
FAVORITE FOODS: Not too surprisingly, UNLIKE her bros, she ISN'T hooked OR fixated on hot dogs like THEY are (she DOES like them; just not for every meal!), but likes many different things. She has a definite liking for Earth-style pizza, especially New York and Chicago-style pizza (living mainly in Chicago, though, she leans more toward Chicago-style...one of the few things, food-wise, she disagrees with the Turtles on, and especially Mikey, the most pizza-fixated of the guys). She also likes lasagna, and a few other Earth dishes. She absolutely adores Oriental foods of ANY kind, but DOES stop short of eating sushi, however. It reminds her way too much of the Plutarkians, her most-hated enemies.
FAVORITE MARTIAN FOODS: Anything her mom cooks, a savory sort of Martian soup/stew called s'al'tith stew, and a sweet and tasty Martian desert call t'w'th (similar to Terran upside-down cake, only bigger and a LOT sweeter!).
FAVORITE DRINKS/BEVERAGES: Root beer. She DOES agree with her bros on this one. She also likes certain types of Terran and Martian wines, but doesn't drink them often, as much as she likes the taste of them. She also likes and enjoys tea, both Terran and Martian, and enjoys joining Splinter in the Japanese Tea Ceremony whenever she can while she's in New York.
LEAST FAVORITE DRINKS/BEVERAGES: Earth-type coffee, although she likes cappachinos and flavored coffees. She prefers Martian coffee to the kind found on Earth. (And in that, she's different from me, 'cause I HATE coffee of ANY kind! LOL)
LIKES: music (whether listening to it or playing it herself; she loves playing acoustic guitar), meditating, kicking tail with her bros (or, when she's with the Turtles, kicking shell), riding "Wyldfyre", drawing (she's a rather good artist), being with the ones she loves, and most especially, being with Raphael, whom she shares a very special bond and relationship with.
DISLIKES: Plutarkians, the Foot (including the Shredder and Hun), all bad guys, bullies, slavers, tyrants and traitors. Like Modo, she also doesn't like most rats, but she DOES make a special exception for Master Splinter, whom she likes, respects, and holds in the same high regard as she does Master Sandstorm, her own Sensei and master.
FAVORITE CLOTHES: Jeans, long-sleeved white shirts (which she rolls the sleeves up on), T-shirts, shorts (on occassion. Just not Daisy Dukes), leather vests (like her brother), leather biker's jacket, black fingerless biker's gloves, and boots (she has two kinds; a pair of over-the-calf biker's boots that he wears when she's riding "Wyldfyre" (natch), and a pair of jet-black knee-high Terran Apache-style fringed, cross-laced moccassin-boots that she prefers to wear when she's on a training run, or doing her "ninja-thing", as Vinnie calls it, on foot).
JEWELRY/ORNAMENTS: Like MOST Martians, Wolf wears earrings; two in her right ear, and three in her left. The two in her right ear are twin gold hoops, connected to each other by a sturdy silver chain. The ones in her left ear are a gold stud, a silver hoop, and a dangle-earring that belonged to her many-times-removed great-grandmother, the original Whitewolf, and is the fang of an ancient Martian Polar Wolf that Whitewolf (Wolf's great-grandmother) killed in single combat. She took took one of the huge beast's fangs as a trophy, and had it mounted in an earring. She also gained her name from it...a name that she has handed down to certain generations of her female descendents.
Wolf also wears her great-grandmother's necklace, which is carved out of purest Martian ivory in the head of a Martian wolf (antenneas and all), and set is with three jewels; two Martian rubies for its eyes, and on its head, a single perfect jewel that is the symbol of her family...a black ruby. It is something she considers her most prized possession, next to "Shadowstorm". And with good reason.
One further thing about Wolf. At the present moment in my latest in-progress fanfic, which is a Biker Mice/Ninja Turtles crossover, she, "Wyldfyre", Flame, Ice and Frost are in New York City on a recon-mission, trying to confirm (or deny) info that the Resistance has received from an uninpeachable source that a Plutarkian boss is attempting, or is GOING to attempt, to set up shop in The Big Apple, and, quite naturally, winds up, as is her luck, of running across the Turtles and Casey on one of her solo night recon-sweeps. Without giving away too much of the plot (which I ain't too sure of MYSELF yet, as I'm still working on it, and ain't even halfway though Chapter 1 yet!), she finds herself becoming friends with the guys, and things will just sorta progress from there. I WILL say that she and Raph develop a very special...friendship...shall we say (hey, some of you guys out there get your minds out of the gutter here, please! It ain't got THAT far...YET. Hehehe.) during the course of her New York adventure. Anyways, I hope to have it refined and up somewhere; hopefully FanFiction.net, the TheTechnodrome Forums ('cause it IS Turtles-related, sorta. My fanfic, that is. Heh.), Red Planet (Biker Mice Forum), here, or wherever; before long. IF I ever get the hang of posting stuff online anyway. Which I will....eventually. But I still gotta get the thing written out in long-hand and the "bugs" (i.e., typos and crap) worked out of it before I can even THINK of posting it somewhere online. Wish me luck, peeps.
Oh, one more thing about Wolf before I finally decide to quit adding to this and get it posted to my Gallery:
Wolf has another nickname that only ONE other person in the entire galaxy can get away with calling her without getting killed for it. The nick is "Wolfie", and the ONLY person in existance that can get away with calling her that and get away with his shell (plus his hide and his head) still intact is Michelangelo. For whatever reason, Mikey is the only person who can get away with calling her that and still stay alive. Why? Maybe it's because he has this certain way about him. Who knows? But he's the only one who can; she won't even tolerate it from Throttle, as incredibly close as they are. She won't even tolerate it from Raph, either. Just Mikey.
EDIT: *double sigh* Well, y'all may have noticed that I've changed this again. Why? 'Cause somewhere along the way of writing my BMFM/TMNT crossover fanfic, it's direction about-faced itself again (MUCH to my Leo-Muse's considerable dismay, and Raph's considerable delight), and I decided to go back to the original story-idea. However, I did some pics of Leo, Wolf and the other Turtles that went with the now scrapped storyline that, to MY mind, are just TOO good NOT to upload here and share with everyone. So, that's what I'm going to do, and I hope that y'all DO enjoy them. Me, I am NOT enjoying Leo's semi-squawking at me for switching horses midstream, so to speak. *sigh* I'm gonna hafta do a fic for just for him, so he's quit being mad at me. Maybe a "what if?" sort of thing. I'll just have to see. I just hope he doesn't bug me TOO much about it. IF he DOES, he's liable to find himself tied up and tossed in a closet somewhere. *chuckles as she hears Leo gulp worriedly and his brothers, especially Raph, chuckle in amusement*
One last thing that I wanted to make note/mention of before I "shut up" is to mention that many of you might notice (or I hope you will, anyway) that Wolf's head in this pic is similar to my avatar here. It should; this is the pic that I got it off of when I had nothing but my digital camera to work with. Pretty neat, huh?
Well, that's about all I can come up with for now (after I post this, I'll probably think of some other stuff that I wanted to write about her, but by then it'll be too late, and this is long-winded enough as it is. Heh.), so I guess I'll put it up and see what y'all think of it. Any critiques, opinions; etc.; are welcome and will be gratefully accepted. I like critism; keeps me on my toes. And knowing me, I'll probably see some things about the pic that I could've done better, or differently, but all-in-all, I'm pretty well satisfied with it.
Oh, one thing that griped me was that I noticed that my scanner cut off my copyright stuff in the lower right-hand corner, but this is my first time using it since I got it, so I'm assuming that I'll get the hang of it sooner or later. Hopefully. *crosses fingers and knocks on wood (my noggin) for good measure...and good luck*
Anywho, since the scanner cut off what I wrote at the bottom of the pic, I figured that I better throw THIS in, for good measure:

Thankies, Suga!
And I do, too...although it took me FOREVER to get it right. Bikes can be a royal pain TO try to draw sometimes. Which is why I decided to kinda/sorta tuck "him" behind Wolf for now. I'm going to do a solo-pic of "Wyldfyre" later, and see how I do with it.

Thankies, I'm glad you like it. I hope to have a solo version of "him" done, and posted soon, like I told SugaDonnie (Well, I THINK it was Suga I told that to *shrugs*).
And unfortunately, no, I don't. I wish that I did, but I don't even have a driver's license of ANY kind (too nervous to drive, actually). So I just kinda/sorta live out my biker fantasies through Wolf. She doesn't mind that I do, either. That's why she's so cool.
Among other reasons. LOL

Thankies. Some folks just don't understand why someone MY age doesn'y have a driver's license, OR want to drive. You would NOT believe how people have told me that I shopuld GET my license 'cause one day my mom won't be able to drive, and I'll have to do it. (One of these ninnies was actually dumb enough to say that in Mom's hearing range, and SHE very bluntly told HIM to mind his own business.)
And indeed it is!;)
