I really like this one. It's just such a cute, wholesome alternative to think about <3
The idea of Death wanting to instill fear in Puss, but being sympathetic enough to also not want him to outright have a panic attack and mental breakdown over his existence is really nice.
It makes me think of the fact that Puss WAS alone in that forest. Before Perrito could find him, Puss was by himself, suffering, panicking... Death really could have shown up at that very moment, but he didn't.
