So I was eating at McDonalds and around here (cause of the SanFran healthier meals for kids thing) they released Oat Meal.
1st I never liked oatmeal as a kid (Bert from Seasme Street makes a poor pusher of the cereal) and still don't like it to this day. I'm not really sure kids are going to JUMP on the idea of McDonald's OatMeal, unless the toy is a Nintendo 3DS.
2) It's hard enough to keep bugs out of your Oat Meal at home, I can only imagine the things you'll find in a vat of McD's oatmeal.
So this is a quick little sketch I did about the idea of a McDonalds OatMeal Hot Tub for bugs. I made it in a way where even if you didn't know who each character was you'd still get the joke.
Want to know who the characters are? Crikkit is my character on the left, a partner of Rokko.
The character in the hot tub on the right is
owljam 's Andrea. When I 1st drew the bug I gave him that long nose, and it reminded me of the character, so I asked and Owljam was cool with me putting him in there.

I've heard of ants in the grits, but not roaches in the oatmeal...though, that's probably more of a Southern thing anyway. I've also not heard of oatmeal being served at McDonald's either, but that's a piece on your end as well. Either way, that porridge looks pretty chunky and warm; maybe it'll do wonders for their skin.

I like oatmeal, but I don't see myself going to McDonalds to get it. I go to fast food burger places for burgers and fries or maybe a bacon and egg biscuit which is essentially a burger with different type of meat and bun.
I like the expression on the toweling roach's face. He knows he's spoiling the food : ) The other roaches look good. Fun to see they do not all look the same. Oatmeal looks like oatmoal overal, a glob in a bowl.
