Maybe because the inspiration for this Pokemon was the Harlekin or italian Arlecchino, based on a superstition connected to the norse wild hunt, later adopted into the french and italian drama, the Arlecchino is a joker, trickster, good and evil, benevolent and malevolent at the same time, and it is said, they symbolise wandering bedween worlds.
With this new information, its probably why. I gravitate towards surity and not designs that feel or represent "flip-floppiness", what you said about being both good and evil, benevolent and malevolent, wandering between worlds.
The stuff I like the most is asiatic stuff! Like one of the pictures I showed you for our Art Trade. I think you know what one or two pictures I mean! Something that feels either neutral or like they can do good!

Ah yes, totally forgot.

Oh no, yeah that's just a smidge unsettling. Its mostly the mask, aside from that the outfit definitely doesn't really jive or make me happy.
I can definitely see why you like it though, same with Maskagato. And with the comment I see below, I think Eternal could easily escape from almost any situation with ease and no suspicion aroused!
