COM - The Family O'Sal

Kirwyn O’Sal
"Following in the hoofsteps of her legendary mother wasn’t easy for Kirwyn, and it took a long time for her to finally start figuring out her place in the world. To the point she ran away from home for a few years and struggled to eke out her own existence in the capital city of Epawell. On the bright side, the rough and miserable experience of struggling amongst the poor gave Kirwyn some kind of purpose in life, and she’s since dedicated her life to trying to untangle the vast web of corruption that’s smothering the people of Epawell alive. Sure, being a politician isn’t as prestigious as Ciara’s monster-slaying shenanigans or single-handedly destroying armies of the undead, but she’s found her own way to carve out a legend.”
Ciara O’Sal
“Known as the Dragon of Epawell (she’d really like it if people stopped calling her that), Ciara’s the middle child of the O’Sal sisters, and probably the most successful. Saved the world from necromancers, demon lords, and various chaos gods over the millennia on countless occasions, she’s finally allowed herself to settle down a bit as the age of heroes has finally come to a close. Not that her life’s any easier now, given that she’s putting up with her sisters full-time bickering, an overly ambitious daughter, and constant attacks from wannabe warriors challenging her.”
Adri O’Sal
“The youngest of the sisters, Adri was once considered nothing more than Ciara’s longtime sidekick, but over the past century has carved out an identity and legend of her own, and she found a niche in the family as a reliable (if eccentric) aunt when Kirwyn and Eskja were growing up. While her legacy might not equal Ciara’s, her antics and capacity for chaos have certainly left an impression, and she’s even earned her own nickname. Not that she particularly likes ‘Rabid Vixen of Clan O’Sal’, but hey, any attention is good attention, right?”
Alutia O’Sal
“The oldest of the trio, Alutia had a… rough family history with the others to say the least. Being stabbed to death in a family dispute back in the Bronze Age’ll do that, but thanks to a surprise resurrection, she was given a second chance at life and found herself far more at home in the modern age than she did in her own time. Now a proud mother and teacher at an Arcane university, Alutia considers herself to be the de-facto matriarch of the O’Sal family. Ciara would heavily disagree, but she’s too humble to argue about it.”
Eskja
“When one thinks of the greatest mages that have ever walked the Earth, one probably doesn’t think of an unassuming, gentle, and soft-spoken marshmallow, but Eskja is exactly that. Blessed with a one-of-a-kind talent for time magic, Ezzy’s ability to travel through time at will has been a boon for archaeologists, anthropologists, and historians alike, and she’s found her niche in historical study and research. Sure, she occasionally alters the timeline by accidentally stumbling into a butterfly or being a repeat customer at some long-since-closed restaurant, but that’s a sacrifice she’s willing to make for knowledge.”
