Had to put something on the last page of a sketchbook (see: lined journal because they're cheaper and easier to carry around) that, after today, will be shelved.
Haven't drawn Mewblade in what, a year or so? So I thought "why not?" since my style for mewtwo-and-adjacent-beings has shifted some. Some, not much.
Didn't have a reference open, so probably got some details wrong. What arm is her plasma cannon on? She's too old for the weird sternum thing, right? Are these blades too big? Hmm, oh well. Etc.
One day I'll draw VLK's other Mewthrees. Maybe.

Lined paper - alas! ... The book I pulled out to replace this one is lined, too. I'm a creature of habit; it's a curse at this point.
Mewblade is easier for me to remember than, say, any of the other 'threes. She's mewtwo anatomy minus the neck tube thing and plus the, well, blades. I can keep track of that better than I can keep track of my own characters, honestly. I'm a bad OC owner.
Happy to hear you say I made her look bad-ass! She's pretty good at that in general, though, I think. She's always a pleasure to draw. I don't think I've ever not enjoyed it.
