Yo, homies! I'm invited to take part in creating another fanzine! This one is dedicated to Samurai Champloo! I can't believe this!
I absolutely adore this anime. Without the influence of the character Mugen, my OC Alejo wouldn't have become the guy we know today.
And this is my ID pic that's going to be used in announcement posts on VK and in the contents of the zine.
Besides drawing full illustrations related to the Samurai Champloo plot, all participants are supposed to draw themselves or their OCs in clothes typical for the setting. I thought it would be fun to try the drawing style of the series, instead of just 'cosplaying' one of the characters.
It was an interesting experiment. I know that the influence of Japanese animation isn't very difficult to recognize in my usual artstyle, but I haven't drawn anything anime-anime for 12 years or so.
Also, just look at Alejo! He failed cosplaying Momo, but I'm sure you haven't seen a cuter pokemon before :'D
