I do other things than draw furries... sometimes.
The design and carving is my work, the joinery was done by a buddy.
Picture a pair of cute fox twins sitting in them if it helps.

They're pricey... made to order at several thousand each. Many /months/ of work in these. But if you're serious, you can contact Tim Bray at www.albionworks.com
There are more pics and in-progress stuff there, too.

Indeed, and also reminds me to a replica of a throne I have seen in the Tower of London. Gothic architecture and design is really one of the medieval highlights. To a great pity, German or French thrones have hardly survived, and nearly none of that period. But we got the original throne of Charlemagne, where almost all Emperors of the Holy Roman Empire have been crowned to the German king http://www.aachendom.de/mediathek/b......%20Va_420.jpg (emperor they were made in Rome, as you may know).
Like I said, I know many people who do reenactment and try to do some craftsmanship, but this is so brilliant, and more, so REAL! it really blasts me. How did you do the small parts of the rosettes?
And they are definitely worthy some thousands... Wish I had still the belongings of my family, I would love to have one in dark wood with my coat of arms, for my desk... I would need a pillow, though XD
