Living in Texas, Mexican food is absolutely everywhere. And it can be anything from tortas served to construction workers at gas stations with attached taquerias, middle-priced bistros with luchadore masks on the walls, or upscale restaurants with frescos, interior fountains and statuary.

I can vouch for this, living in SW Oklahoma 'bout 30 minutes from the Red River, so, essentially Texas.
