Woo once more—the cover art for the first comic I did, the "Gargoyle" introduction comic!
I want the covers to reflect the original comic, so even though I'm glad I've gotten better in terms of lighting and such, I deliberately tried to emulate what I did with the original comic pages: high contrast, a soap-opera blur across the entire thing—it looks muddy, but it fits with what it was! I even used the original characters' models, unoptimized as they are, and enjoyed a full 15 minutes of inefficient rendering!
Either way, glad I'm doing it. Feels like a good re-conclusion.
