A neat bust commission from a while back. This was super fun to make, since I have never done anything like it.
I decided to go with an unfinished/unpainted base. I tried him on a stained base, which looked awful and a painted base, which also looked awful. The unfinished looked nice.
I would love to do more sculptures like this. melting or transforming. Neato

I'm so glad you had fun with this! That's always a prerequisite with me that, no matter what, you at least have fun, so I'm very glad to hear this. ^^
I was hoping a melting character would be a good break from the norm and possibly an idea perfectly suited for trying out with clay.
I'm very happy with how it came out. I can't wait to have this at my desk at home, right by my computer, so I can look at every day and show it to friends that come over!
