So I'm in a bit of a slump figuring out where I want to set my tone next, and figured to try something else to keep my creativity going. In Revelations I briefly mentioned the title of the mechanized unit during a conversation, and decided to make an emblem for them. This emblem would be worn on the shoulder pauldron of the mechs for easy visual identification.

To explain the emblem:
Green borders represent the new opportunities of life; black background is representative of the vast space which is now traversable; the serpent is a reference to Jörmungandr, who encircles the globe and is the child of the god Loki and the giantess Angrboða; the Polaris is a star infamous for its guidance to navigators and sailors in our cultures, and is heavily associated with finding our planet in mythologies.

All of these together show that the Polaris, one of the cornerstones of humanity finding its way, is now guarded by a massive snake/dragon created to both protect and destroy.
