God… I know I’ve already gushed quite a bit about how incredibly beautiful this piece feels, but I’ll be glad to repeat it as many times as I need to! I really love how peaceful yet ethereal the scene feels, the brightness of the night sky, the sparkling water, the soft snow and the hint of the pine forest around her… I can already imagine it being a quiet winter night out there, all is still and peaceful as the witch lays there in the freezing cold waters of the lake by the light of the moon, soaking in the beauty of her surroundings and savoring this time of complete calm at her own leisure… Her blue-eyed gaze feels almost hypnotic, like she’s silently beckoning for you to come join her even though it would certainly be very ill-advised to do so. The lovely composition, the way the moonlight illuminates her and her surroundings, the pleasant smoothness of the texturing and rendering work, so gorgeous and wonderfully well done! I really love this so much, and it was such a pleasure and a treat to see this come to life throughout the whole process~ 🥰🥰
