Sometimes the quick ones turn out better. I know it can be hard to understand, but when a person is just doodling, enjoying their art, and overall not worried about rules and doing things just-so, that more relaxed mentality can often pay off with a better drawing. Less rules to worry about, less tension, better results. It's a good combination, Drakion. ^..^
