I originally uploaded this piece of "The Sea in You" Fanart ages ago on Twitter but decided I didn't do enough for the background and went in the other day to tweak it. I added some details and water particles, fix the lighting and added some blocking shadows to make it look like Skylla was blocking the light from reaching the bottom.

I also added some more values to push the shading and some murky overlay to make the water a bit thicker and fixed the plants. First time remembering to color shift distant objects and blur nearby objects to create depth-of-field.

This is a moment in the very beginning, the moments before Skylla calls Corinth from the beach as Skylla realizes there a human nearby and no fish. IYKYK
