Maude is one of my favourite Quange horse centaur characters, and I had gotten her into and out of some scrapes in the past. One time the group for the Centaurs Gatherum fanzine was discussing how Centaurs might use Human sized furniture and equipment, and the image of poor Maude trying to make a phone call from a telephone booth popped into my head.

Sorry MerryCat. Centaurs Gatherum folded up around 1995 or so and despite the brave efforts of a couple contribbers to keep it going the fanzine finally folded up. Now I think there might be some web pages devoted to the fanzine and it's former artisans, but most like the dust have been scattered to the winds.
