We've been playing a lot of Monster Hunter Rise lately, and I just adore the new style of icons that they're using for the monsters. So when it came to what to do the lovely fluffy fox (and incidently, their Helhound partner Garm) for their birthday, I figured I'd try my paw! It's been a long time since I tried this Sumi-e artstyle, and it took me a couple o' tries to get into it - I actually ended up doing a whole other piece! Definitely a different skillset. I'd love to do more like it in future though~

That's because they both use the Sumi-e art style! I've always been fascinated with its simplicity and its effectiveness. Really impressive stuff <3
