Their chests expand and deflate as they exchange air. Breathing becomes faster and faster due to the shared air is in closed system, meaning it will only get more rich in CO2 as the time goes by. Some of it escapes as bubbles as their mouth-to-mouth kiss becomes partially separated.
They are so desperate that they begin to take water. Slowly sinking back to the ocean floor, they soon realised there was no getting back to the surface...

With how maddening the intense instinct to survive can be, there are few things more calming than the company of a loved one~
So much so that as senses fade and vision narrows, they may just lock gazes one last time in soul if not body as their forms shudder and twitch... Smiling as the only thing they can register is each other...
