Late-breaking news!!!
Thanks to some nudging from the author and some quick and decisive action on the part of Sofawolf Press, it looks like the Isolation Play promo poster will be seeing print!
The posters will be a massive 18" x 24" (these two detail cuts should be about actual print size!), and will be selling for 12 bucks a pop, which is a crazy good deal! They're being offset printed on nice stock, so they should look super slick.
These bad boys will be available for sale at the Sofawolf table at a con near you! They're a con-exclusive item, but the Sofawolf guys have a presence at all the major events. Whether it's at FC or AC or whatever's near you, be sure to drop by their table the next time you're at a con and pick up a poster along with your copy of the book!
If you're not hitting any cons this year, you'll have to content yourself with just ordering the book online -- sorry, guys! Get your con-going friends to pick up an extra copy of the poster for you <3

I honestly thought your style was influenced by an artist that was featured/illustrated for The Saturday Evening Post- I was going to first say, Norman Rockwell but you mentioned another I had not heard of before! Regardless, were NR a furry artist, I'm sure that his work would greatly mirror what you have portrayed here for all of us.
Fantastic work- I am deeply envious of your gifted coloring work <3 but in a good way, an admiring way :3

I used two brushes in this piece! One was the standard Photoshop round guy which fades in diameter (down to about 60%) and opacity with pen pressure -- the default diameter is 19px, I believe? Then the other one is what's making that canvas texture. I got that one from a brush pack that
basalt linked to in a journal entry, I believe!

Oh! And I start with a midtone when I paint, so I have the maximum range of shadows/highlights to work with from there. This piece was kind of an exception because I knew I wanted to have a flat white background, so I started with that, but with the figures, I'd definitely drop in a midtone orange and work in shadows and highlights from there <3
thankyou so much for taking the time to help =)I'll get the brush you mentioned and try this way of colouring ! Been trying to figure out a way that suits me, something not too complex like realistic fur but not simple cellshaded. Thanks again. keep up the beautiful work =)
