A rather large indoor gym serves as an alternative to open-air gymnasiums, since some recruits may have specific conditions that prevent them from working out outdoors. This gym is decorated with world flags, so as to attractive foreign recruits

Thanks for replying to LorneLyon, but I'd like to butt in on this. Sure, there are only four flags of the countries you've mentioned, but he said "off-screen", so the Dutch flag can be somewhere "outside of this background". This gym is supposed to bear a dozen of flags (including the visible four) around the world hanging onto walls, meant to allow everyone regardless of where they come from.
Also, the MALAKAS Project is currently not an international brand, but rather a local project supposedly meant to safeguard the state of California, with approval from the US government, though most of all registered recruits have more priority on personal goals and motives. The project is allowed to be promoted on a national scale, as well as a secret lot of "reach-outs" and potential branches to other countries (including Mexico). Meaning, this project is not supported by other world governments (such as one of Russia), but that shouldn't stop their citizens from coming into the project, provided that they don't let those governments know and find out, lest the project's higher-ups will have to distract or counter them, one way or another.
