MALAKAS Project - Ezra Sabertooth

Description:
Ezra Sabertooth came into the mountain base as some lazy and unmotivated student from the City of Bristol College. Originally, she had a mundane goal of studying in that college, and her goal was to live an urban life as an active worker, which was what she preferred over her family farm. She also wished to become a social media star one day, as she was often looking into her phone for posts and trends, albeit some of them deemed like a cliche. She joined the MALAKAS Project, only out of the request for her young cousin who had become paralyzed for life and disqualified from any future bodybuilding competition, following the single gym accident.
Even though she resented going on fulfilling her cousin's desperate request, that cousin Xander Stripesborough was the only one in her extended family who had a well-off living in a city, despite being the black sheep. The rest of her family on the other hand found comfort and prosperity in a family farm at the outskirts of Rye, and so wanted future generations to have a livelihood there.
As the mountain base began allowing small businesses to open and prosper, many recruits came forward to fill the quota as store workers. Ezra, given her past in doing part-time jobs during her college days, found an easy hire in a workshop newly founded by the Filipino bird recruit named Jay Heartwing. While she was fine with running a cash register and organizing shelves, she had some sense of creativity made out of boredom, and so she wished to try something new from Jay's workshop named Jayheart's, whenever she felt like it. However, Ezra would eventually realize that her work experience would become a doozy mess with Jay's character development and encounters with others. For one, she liked mundane work and plain relations with co-workers, but wouldn't tolerate change of one's behavior that would affect her work. For another, she was used to boredom and status quo in her life, so she could either pass off any deviation without care or even lash out on anything intefering her preferred way of working. And for the other, her past cases of depression and anxiety from high school years allowed her to develop sympathy for others, and to even suggest therapy, though she may not do so openly.
With her consistent lazyness, she would have to spend much longer in training, but due to Jay's sudden focus on training, she had to prioritize her work on crafting items and weapons on his behalf. And she would have stressed and backed out from that shift, had it not for Jay's unfriendly confrontation at one night by his business rivals, who were riddled with jealousy and desperation. After learning what Jay went through, even before joining the MALAKAS Project, Ezra developed change in herself and pledged to run his workshop once he got discharged from the mountain base.
By January 2021, after a warming goodbye hug with Jay, she became concerned on who would run Jayheart's once she would eventually be out from training. She had grown to love his workshop, to the point of wishing to keep it by herself, nevermind the concerns Xander started to have for her. The new policy on small businesses turned out to be so vague, that instead of helping business-minded recruits flourish, it ended up ruining dozens of stores in a couple of few months. With no signs of confidence or even insurance in that, she turned to one well-known instructor, whom she heard how he managed to keep the store open for longer despite being a Super Soldier already: by becoming an instructor for a year.
Even though there were no extensions (whether legal or not) to instructorship, Ezra decided to take a chance on it to keep Jayheart's open and prosperous. And since then, she was allowed to run that workshop until the end of December 2021, and by that point she became so confident, that she began planning to open her own workshop in Bristol. Jay, who was revisiting the mountain base at the time, approved her plans and decided to close Jayheart's there, so as to strengthen his focus on his family business back at home. Xander on the other hand grew impatient for his cousin's return in Bristol, but couldn't do anything to keep her in line, as she had made up her mind. Even if she accepted the rest of her life as a bodybuilder, she still had a lot of opportunities to do whatever she wanted, and so suggested Xander to join the MALAKAS Project as well, following the recent rumor about providing expandable prosthetics for recruits who lost their limbs.
While her family was saddened that she still wouldn't live with them in their farm, they were more than happy to help her with her new workshop business, as they preferred a better lifestyle for her than letting her take a dead-end job.
