If it was bought that close to the beginning of the month I wouldn't ask for a fee to have it done on time! If it was closer to valentines day itself then I might add one to have it done on time, since that gives me less time to work on it, but the "buy it by the end of january and get it by valentines day" is just meant as a sort of definite guarantee, since there are fourteen slots amongst the ychs I have open right now, and that gives me a day for each of them minimum plus a little extra. Buying closer to valentines day I would still do my best but can't guarantee that I would be able to deliver the closer it gets to the day itself.
Buying it early on the 1st should not pose a problem with getting it done by then though so no worries about fees!

I do also put holds on slots for short periods of time, so if you'd like me to put a hold on one of the slots for you I would be happy to!
