I did this as PURELY an expirement, and it came out PERFECT.
I'm going to start doing this from now on. This means I'm going to drop everything I'm currently working on and redoing all the line art, because it is so freakin worth it. Even though it took me a few hours to actually practice with it, it took me almost half the time it normally takes me to do line art that normally comes out shakey and bland. THIS WROCKS.

I gotta admit I miss Neopets. I used to play and had a reallllly long standing account, and after finally saving up for MONTH to get a ghost paintbrush for my Shoyru, Neopets accused me of having two accounts (I didn't) and locked my account. I was too sad to ever try to start over. Gah... just thinking about it makes me mad!

Well, I was going to use the picture as a petpet look up, because my old picture of Birnal is really old, so he would be looking at his name in lights of to the side there. That is, whenever I finally create the stinkin look up image. :P
That really freakin sucks that they did that, and I had heard about a similar thing happening to someone. Don't they unlock it after a while though? By the way, the ghost paintbrush doesn't make your pet look as cool as it used to, now it's just a pail blue with red eyes and a very blank look on it's face. Totally lame. Still though, it really freakin sucks that they did that and you couldn't appeal it or anything. I would have emailed them and told them to PROVE that I had two accounts along with many other crude things that might have gotten them in legal trouble.

Hahah I tried to appeal but never even got a response! I was really upset but I never really even had a way to prove things either way. And even though I miss it, I really don't think I have the time for an online game anymore @.@ I have a hard enough time keeping up with all the business I do online (commissions, amazon sales, etsy, job interviews etc) that I really don't have as much "computer free time" anymore ._. At least I'm making money but it really does take up a lot of my time! Neopets is cool and fun and it really pioneered a lot in the "pet site" biz. I respect it and still think it's pretty cool, but I really doubt I could get over the heartache and find the time to re-establish an account anyway.
