I've listened to more books last year than I did in like, 7-10 years

If you have a bunch of books to suggest, I might give them a try. I like fiction more

My next one I'd like to be is Dracula

War of the Worlds really is a classic for a reason isn't it? I was surprised at how fast paced and modern it seemed when I read it. If you're looking sci-fi recommendations I highly recommend The Culture novels by Iain M. Banks but then I'm basically a total fangirl for that series.

Well fantasy is muddled modern genre, but plenty of still wonderful things in it.
If you want that more classic form Lord of the Rings obviously or Ryo Mizno's Records of Lodoss War (if you can find a copy).

Though good fantasy writers you might enjoy: Andre Norton, Jack Vance, David Gemmell, Our own local Pauli Kidd, Holy Lisle, Jeff Grubb. Ursula Le guin, George MacDonald. Many of whom also wrote wonderful SF work too.

If you have not read a physical copy of Hyperion I recommend you do so. It is a book meant to be read, with deep layers to how it is written. I reread it often and pick up on nee things. So much is lost in an audio book form of that novel.

I loved 20000 leagues under the sea, may have to go through it again this year.

I don’t think I’ve read a book from cover to cover since college. I tend to buy many and then read bits and pieces of them :)

Most recently there was a Russian history book I read a few chapters out of and made an exam out of it.

Well at time of writing this I'm reading, 'Kursk: The Greatest Battle - Eastern Front 1943' by Lloyd Clark'.
