Just because you're undergoing an excruciatingly slow and permanent transformation into a griffon's rump doesn't mean you don't need your beauty sleep! ... it really does feel more natural now to sleep at the foot of the bed instead of the head, doesn't it~?
Made as a quick test run on a Windows 98SE digital art workstation PC I've been assembling out of NOS components (which included an HP Kayak as the base fresh out of the box it slumbered in since Y2K!), running Photoshop 6.0 with a Wacom Intuos 1. Digital art is often not very fun to me anymore but I thoroughly enjoyed this! These old systems just do things differently. Can see it here: https://twitter.com/Gryphpaw/status.....65194246840320

Doesn't it just? And that final part, perhaps it's just your face left, wreathed in fuzzy rump fur, squished in awkwardly between both haunches beneath the griffon's tail, completely ignored by them and the world, just waiting to fulfill your final purpose that you can't seem to get off your mind... why are you thinking so much about other griffons? Why do you WANT them near... oh. Oh dear~
Gosh, love this idea. Imagine the changes only progress when you sleep, so you awake to the hind legs of a gryphon as arms, the horrifying implications that brings. You spend the day in such a panic that you end up wearing yourself out trying to find solutions, so you nap. Before you know it, a tail is wiggling above your head and something stirs beneath your pants. You can't even get at it once you awake, but you feel these changed parts moving on their own. Try as you might to remain awake, you cannot hold back the fatigue. Before you know it you're subsumed into the rump of the Gryphon who's now taken over the body, one last day of waking time to watch from your new perspective, knowing once they fall asleep again, you'll be naught but a fat rump beneath their tail~
Also very cool to do that on 98SE, there's a certain simplistic charm to the older operating systems that i miss nowadays

At some point, I imagine that the dream is becoming more and more identical with exactly what their body is doing, until, at some point, they don't wake up, and that becomes a continuity, with their subjectivity having collapsed into nothing but exactly what the body is doing. At this point, there isn't enough variation in thought with what is actually occurring, so the illusion of consciousness just kind of vanishes without notice.
Iii am thinking about this image a lot more than I thought I would >/> The slow burn is really what sells it, knowing what's going to happen, knowing you're going to slowly lose control but it's not going to happen at once. Bit by bit, day by day, changing and being inconvieniened more and more until it's almost impossible to act on your own... but of course given what you're becoming, that's not control you're going to be needing <//<
Interesting concept, though some aspects of it could get unpleasant. Ignoring that, there'd be some odd and memorable steps along the way, like figuring out how to balance, and how to try to continue working, and what to do on first noticing a tail. Noticing mental effects like a need to prop your head and shoulders up when laying down, and odd thoughts about eggs.
That's what I live by, if an aspect of the TF is unpleasant just don't even mention it lmao. The slow mental change as you fall into your new role is what I live for, just losing your original sense of self and embracing being nothing but hindquarters, along for the ride, and savoring the changes as they happen <3
