King Snake & Ra.Muu were the 5th and 6th Robot Kaiju of the Dark Horror Army featured in Episode 6, "The Reborn Empire of Mu", of the original Gaiking Anime. They were not only the first tag team, but were a Gestalt Kaiju as well.

_Abilities and Appearance_
King Snake (Kingusuneeku) and Ra. Muu (La Mu) were two Zelan Dark Horror Robot Kaiju that worked both individually, as well could combine, the former became as its right arm of the latter and make it the first Gestalt Robot of the show. Be in their individual or reveal in their true form, the Monster(s) were as tall as the Dairu Maryu itself and easily dwarfing Gaiking.

King Snake resemble a gigantic snake with a segmented body: it blue in color with a pink underbelly, green rings with a black center, three spikes in the back, with the most forward one adorn its horn, posses yellowish green eyes and mouth with sharp teeth.. It could wrap around and constrain its target like a snake, and was able to spew fire from the mouth. When combine with Ra.Muu it became its right arm and would extend almost indefinitively.

Ra.Muu was a gigantic, and first, Zelan Humanoid Robot seeing in the Dark Horror Army; It was yellow and blue in color, with green and brown, outlines, possessing King Snake as a Right Arm, while having as well a Sword as it's Melee weapon. When separated from King Snake, Ra.Muu would support a disguise, resembling a statue of the reported to be of Mu's Emperor. It's only other ability was fire a red hypnotic beams, which he used on Capt. Pete Richardson, as well was capable of flight.

_History_
In need of a permanent base of operations to help advance the conquest of Earth – as well concern that sooner or later, the Daiku Maryu will stumble upon it – Darius recommends the Generals to raise the Continent of the lost kingdom of Mu, another Remanent of the Zelan's ancient Colonial control of Earth, having sunk into the Ocean 12,000 years ago. Having a plan, the Generals return to Earth and use their Death Cross Maneuver to raise the legendary Continent from the depth of the Pacific Ocean, the movement of such a large land mass causes giant Tsunamis, hitting Hawaii. The event naturally attracts the attention of the Daiku Maryu team who travels to the newly emerge land, after discovering ruins in it, alluding it to be the lost Kingdom of Mu – above all, Pete been eager by the prospect, having been fascinated by Mu since he was a boy. The Generals take notice of the Fortress; the more headstrong of them, General Killer, chooses to sent King Snake to deal with the Heroes.

When the Daiku Maryu arrives under heavy fog, it comes under attack by King Snake, wrapping around the fortress; Gaiking is launched along with Skylar and Nessar to assist in the battle; Gaiking uses Desper Sight, but the monster avoids and retaliates with Fire Breath, engulfing Gaiking; it then wraps around it and begins to constrain the Robot, with Skylar and Nessar trying to help out to no effect. Under Pete's skills, he pilots the Daiku Maryu towards the monster, using the sharp starboard side blade to hit it; recoiling, the monster let's go and falls into the Fog cover sea, much to the ire of General Killer; the General's then proceed to the next phase of the plan.

After the fog lifts, the Daiku Maryu makes it to the shore and lets the Bazolar go to land, with Sanshiro, Pete, Fan Li and Yamagatake as the scouting party, arriving onto ruins, their moves been watched by the Generals, who proceed to plan to destroy the Fortress from the inside, having sights on Pete as target; as the heroes explore the ruins, seeing standing stones resembling Stonehenge and Giant Statues like those of Easter Island; however, due to Pete's continuous jabs towards Sanshiro, causes the party to return back to the Vessel while Pete explores the ruins on his own – giving the villains the window of opportunity – though the team returns for him later when reprimanded by Dr. Daimonji who forbid them go out on their own.

Pete makes it to a large Building, when after seeing a sun crest among symbols, Royal symbol of the Mu, confirming it to be Mu; he then reaches a chamber where he finds the giant statue of the Emperor of Mu (Ra.Muu in its disguise), but this activates and fires a Hypnotic Beam than puts Pete under control of the Zelans, who now enact the plan, having Pete running away from the pursuing statue and been rescued by Sanshiro and the others; the Bazolar then runs back to the Ship, which enters into Combat, but Pete heads to the Engine Room rather than his command post.

Ra.Muu arrives and King Snake reappears, combining with Ra.Muu to reveal its true form: the Robot proceeds to attack Daiku Maryu just as the hypnotize Pete shuts down the Engine, leaving the Ship in the dark and at the Mercy of the Monster, who tries to cut it with its sword. Sanshiro investigates the matter and finds Pete; the two fight, but the MC is able to overpower and slap Pete back into reality and he reactivates the Engines as Sanshiro leaves for Battle and Gaiking Parts are launched, but the Beast tries to stop the assembly. Pete lifts the vessel, distracting the Robot long enough to allow Gaiking's assembly and the Mecha takes to Battle with its enormous opponent, using Counter Punch on it to have the vessel release and staying at a safe distance, though the monster takes flight; Gaiking grabs King Snake before it can grab the Daiku Maryu once more. Taking the chance, Sanshiro uses Desper Sight on the Gestalt Monster, causing it to corrode and fall to the land of Mu, all of it exploding on Impact.

While feeling sorry for ending Pete's dream of Mu, the latter thank the former for saving him.
