The Shas are constructs made out of an elemental spirit of Earth, composed of native gold and dark marble stone. They are servants of the god Seth, who created them to staff his temples in lieu of the positions that many manual workers, priests and clerks would have. They serve Seth's current avatar on Earth, a man who used to have an identity of his own but now can only identify himself as Seth, even in his memories. The Sha are his only close friend now that he works in the temple but the platonicity of their relationship is in question.S
