These look great! How high is the heel that gets cut off? They look pretty stilt-y, which is perfect for the hoof look.

It varies, usually between 2 to 5 inches depending.

Shoe Carnival carries some nice high heel boots in 11's, though that might not help anyway :( I just bought 4 size 11 pairs to make some various shoes/feets for myself :-B

im 6’3” but only wear womens 9 1/2 - 10

D= I'm 11 1/2 - 12 and it is so hard to find cute shoes.

Is there by chance a lower limit? I don't have plans yet, but I like to keep tabs on artists I'd like to purchase from for future projects. I wear a women's 5 or 5.5 depending on the individual pair of shoes.

For the most part, yeah. A balance place can alleviate some of that but mostly it just makes it so the balance on the ball of your foot can go to a rested slant (less work for your calves tho)

how is there any support?

The boot gives a little, but its not rigid like a stilt or high-heeld shoe, no. Most of the work is done by the wearer's legs and feet but its not hard to learn. I just dont reccomend hikeing or extreme sports in them.

I have added a video link of them beign walked in in the description section of the submission. If you watch it it might help you see whats going on a bit better.

How sturdy is the hoof attachment to the boot? like, how do you keep it on? is it with glue or screws or molded on the shoe?

awesome, similar to what I want to try and accomplish when I eventually make mine, except they shall be fully furred. I want to keep the feet as small as possible so I think boots would be my best option... but these look friggen amazing

For mens sizes it might require the buyer to send me boots because fit on men is tricky in high heel boots and I reaaallly need to make sure they will fit. Women would not. Price would be adjusted based on the circumstances.

One day I hope to own a pair of hooves as beautifully made as yours ;^;

The shape is really fantastic. I am very impressed with the quality and functionality of these. Just want to say I have been watching your stuff for a while now and you are always improving and trying new things. It is really fantastic!! Any plans to incorporate these into a skin-tight style of suit legs (like fawn) legs? They really look great under the hem of those loose fitting pants you have in the video. Seriously great job. Does it stress you ankles to wear them for very long? How is the balance on them? I'm sure it takes getting used to.

I am sad that I can't have these is 'giant man-foot' size. But, then again, I can't find anything in my size normally anyway, so this not being an exception is no surprise. Accursed size 13's! But I can console myself with thinking about people like Shaq and their double-giant man feet.

One of my friends owns some of those boots from you. My highlight of MFM was being able to try them on (they fit me perfectly) and clop around a bit in them. Your design is TOTALLY impressive and the boots are so comfy. One day, I'd love to be able to afford a pair from you.

What material do you use for your mold, some sort of silicone? I can't tell if it would stick or not as a mold. Polyurethane is used alot as a mold but not used for molding much.

Do you get your shore urathaine from smooth on? Is it a shore 10A? Could you maybe give me a link to where you order your urathaine?

How is the grip on smooth floors/tile? I'm looking for something I can wear to balls and formal events.

Very good! the rubber is extremely friction-y (like good boot rubber) so as to that, short of running around on freshly mopped floors or icey sidewalks, you should be golden.
