Well I decided to sketch up yet another synthetic being. New species all together. ^^

The Artillect are a synthetic life form originating on earth. Derived from continually advancing artificial intelligence the Artillect were eventually created. They were found to be sentient shortly after the first few were created. After a short time the Artillect took their place as equals to humans. In reality though the Artillect are far superior. Thinking at near light speeds they are capable of great mental feats. The physical bodies most inhabit now were conceived, designed, and built within a month. Most Artillects that expect heavy interaction with humans and other organics assume a child like physical form. This tends to put organics more at ease and make them more willing to listen to their advice. Artillect bodies though displaying some obvious signs such as seem and one or two metallic parts mimic some major organic functions. An artillect has a full and perhaps even wider sense of touch, taste, sight, hearing and smell as a human does. They are also capable of eating, drinking, and sleeping. Though they require none of these it is none the less something most do and enjoy. Although consumption of liquids and solids necessitates their expulsion from the body at a later date. in simple terms an Atillect which eats and drinks will eventually need to make use of a restroom. All these features are geared to allow for better interactions with organics.

Lex here is a prime example of an Artillect. He primarily works in ship design and construction and has aided in the construction of a few space stations. He is kind and open about everything and has a few personality quarks. Oddly enough these eccentricities in Artillect are actually common. Lex has taken quite a liking to acting in his spare time how he appears and sometimes even younger. To that extent he has developed a fondness for diapers and has begun to wear them continuously. His human room mate has found it quite amusing and adorable at the same time. All and all Lex has a pretty pleasant life.
