Shuichi is an odd, odd character. See, he's based off a Pichu I raised (one of many, don't ask) in my R/S games. The light doodles in the top are based off a what-if? considering how he was raised: See, Shuichi comes from a Pikachu mother and a Jigglypuff father who I don't actually use in my teams, but I did have a Mawile, Anji, who I DID use. And the weird idea came out of Anji being the one that actually helped raise him to become the 'morph he is today.

Ironically, I think the "actual" Shuichi in Leaf Green is still a Pichu. I'd need to check.

[EDIT: Nope, he is indeed a Raichu! Maybe I'll go and move him to Diamond once I get my National 'Dex)
