Making the lighting fade in might be a nice touch, but no idea what sort of programming that entails.

Hey thanks for the suggestion! Do you mean making the lights quickly fade in when you step into a room/out when you leave?
If so, that wouldn't be a bad idea..! The Mystery Dungeon games I've been basing this project off of just kinda pop in and out those lights, but it might look pretty aesthetically pleasing to try that out :3 Please lemme know if that's not what you meant though lol

Exactly what I meant, would make it easier on the eyes and emulate the feeling of getting your bearings when you enter a room. Would make cases where you turn the lights on/off instantly impactful too.
