Red Cap Mushling: Hehe more toys for me to play with and crush!
Orange Cap Mushling: Hey don't hog those smol buggies for yourself again, I want some toys too!
Be careful when traversing through a forest of huge mushrooms especially when your micro because these particular denizens of mushroom forest are just waiting to get the jump on you or in this case squash you flat like a bug, and these micro anon folk who are foraging made a mistake of wandering into said mushroom forest.
When they wander into this certain area of mushrooms completely oblivious of the two mushlings hiding in the ground, and when the foraging mirco anons were close enough to the red cap one and surprise the red cap mushling pop out of the ground yelling "ambush!" and stamp down on two of the micro anons is was quite, the micro anon dog barely avoided the stomping attack made a run for it, but the red cap mushling was not going to let him get away so easily.
The red cap mushling raised his left two toed foot over the fleeing smol anon dog also revealing of his one of his squashed buddies stuck to mushling's sole and the dog anon was going to be next, red cap mushling then shouted at the smol anon dog saying "Weak bugs go smooshed" before bringing his paw down on the tiny doggo meanwhile the orange cap mushling was watching in amusement.
Thought I go ahead introduce the mushlings!, unlike the leaflings the mushlings are bit more hardy and love to rough house, pretty much they like to fight alot, they're also quite territorial so if you want to gain their trust and companionship you have to either challenge them in a brawl or give them something that they'll really like, they may not have the same natural abilities as the leaflings do but the mushlings make up for with both offensive and defensive fighting capabilities, getting up close and personal, tactics such as ambushes, and the ability to create and grow potent mushrooms that can be use as traps and inflict various aliments as well use as buffs for Mushlings to give themselves a boost.
Also the caps of mushlings are very super sturdy which they use to shield and protect themselves from various attacks, so yeah mushlings can prove to be tough as nails, and excellent companions to have by your size if you can gain their trust first and not being a micro around them, they tend to treat micros differently and often see them as bugs to crush or toys to play with, so if your a lover not a fighter and definitely the type who rather avoid brawls than I suggest having some micros in your inventory to please the mushlings.

Seeing what normally small and cute monster as macro (Because you're tiny) probably my thing... It kinda reminds me of old JRPG game I played, there's a small Pumpkin-like monster that you normally fight and it didn't matter much, it is an early monster but in one area in the game, the player characters shrunk and ran into it, now this monster be like a super boss and very hard to take it down, anyway, I don't mind mushlings toying with me, they're cute and maybe I'll gain their trust somehow...
