Yep. Kass doesn't because he learned to talk as a human, and his adoption of Yinglet pronunciation is basically just to overcome a speech impediment. On the flip side, that's how Beizel was initially taught how to speak. The Z and ZH sounds aren't a replacement for anything in his mind, it's just how those words are pronounced to him.
At very least Yannit has a potential job in helping clean out those tunnels plus helping to patrol them, as they seem very good at getting through them despite her larger size.
And I know she is not exactly a fighter but in tight dark quarters like that her ability to see in thermal and rock crushing arms make her quite a force to be reckoned with.

She can dig, break rock and reform it, as she needs to get around, thus the digger arms facing forward and antennae to measure where she will not fit. The repairs seem to take a while longer since shes only been seen to do it overnight when the crew first settled down in the research floor. But its certainly doable, maybe go through widening then set repairs going, then take another lap to finish them up later? Or renew whatever chemical reaction she produces to bond limestone to itself....
Her chief weapon is surprise. Surprise and fear, fear and surprise. Her two weapons are fear and surprise- and ruthless efficiency. Her three weapons are fear, surprise and ruthless efficiency- and an almost fanatical devotion to the Trademaster. Her four- no… amongst her weapons… amongst her weaponry are such diverse elements as fear, surpri- I’ll come in again. *exit*
Honestly, the ventilation tunnels are a serious security breach that they have not even considered. Getting some good yinglets that can pay attention and take care of stuff might be quite good for dealing with that bit of risk. Also might make them more agreeable to the idea of having indril in the group.
Poor Beizel, he is quite suprised. But partly thats because he is so used to being the only one using the vents. Any humans that might be in the vents would be a lot noisyer, and he would know they where there. Yannet was quiet, and a total suprise, I am not suprised he freaked out a little.
Still, its cool that he seems to really likes Lopin, and more seems to realy think Lopin is cute.

Hi all! I'm back again to remind you that there's a place called "Top Web Comics" https://www.topwebcomics.com/?home=3 that compiles comics from various places. There's a bunch of cool stuff there. They have monthly votes, so you can support OOPs there. You can vote once a day per device, so your PC, laptop, tablet, phone, etc.
I've noticed that you can sometimes even get in extra votes from different IP addresses, or if you're disconnected from your IP and open up again later.
OOPs closed out last month at I think 39th place and around 975 votes, I believe the highest ranking it's reached yet. It's currently at 19 votes and 53rd place. The top vote getters seem to end up with something close to 20,000 votes.
Vote early, vote often! Help OOPs get noticed!

This is perfect comedic timing, particularly since I had to scroll down to see the last row. I was as caught up in Beziel's thoughts as he was himself, and Yannit surprised me almost as much as she did him -- though my reaction was laughter rather than a strangled scream.
Pretty sure this is the least Beizely moment we've ever seen from Beizel; he's always struck me as someone that if you ever got the drop on him, it'd be because he planned it weeks in advance.
Also, it occurs to me that due to their size and shape, yinglets offer a unique opportunity for thorough vent sanitation.
...Phrasing.

I love this so much. Two characters I'd never thought would meet: our lovable bug getting the drop on our sleak yinglet spy. I feel like I'm witnessing a crossover despite the fact they're from the same comic. Try imagining Poak meeting Isher canonically 'cause I can't.
