If you are just doing line-art after scanning a picture you should use vectors, makes for a smoother transition and you can then stroke the vectors.

O.o ?? i have no idea what vectors are, and im doing the lining with a mouse. This picture was sketched by another artist

So vectors are a type of tool in many of the major art programs (gimp, photo shop etc) you basically click points and you produce a line along those points, which you can then pull into curves, etc.

Vectors are cool because unlike a normal paint tool you can draw and manipulate them afterwards. After everything looks right you can use a command to "paint" or "stroke" along those vectors, giving you perfectly matched line-art. Afterwards you can remove the vectors and make any changes you like. I'm a newb too in these things (although finding time to learn them is such a pain!) so hopefully this helps ^..~

That is not too shabby i must say =). I can see why all the lines look really shaky considering it was based off that other artwork, and you were probably going really slow. But yeah, looks pretty cool!
