Incidentally, I've been having a lot of fun drawing the iMac gijinka costume. Anyone interested in a themed commission? Your choice of "flavor" (including the second-generation color schemes) and I'll even format it like one of those magazine ads with the text of your choice.
And heck, while I'm at it, the offer's still open for commissions of the Portal turret costume (stock, broken, retro, or weird-colored variants), complete with the background of your choice. (This includes settings that appear in mods, provided I'm able to get a high-quality screenshot—and no, my computer can't run Portal RTX.)

Velcro. Well, the "cro" part, anyway. I've found that the pad of plastic hooks can attach loosely to a hairy surface. Though here, I'd urge caution; the soft "vel" half normally has loops, so as to require effort to detach, and normal hair/fur doesn't. (If it has a woolly texture, that might be another matter, but I wouldn't think a raccoon belly qualifies.)
