So the crew, at least the pengu, doesn't know what is out there and why it is out there, hmmm?

Big guy knows that's not gonna fly, and knows exactly why. But he doesn't want to admit why.

That pengu's got all kinds of death flags, though. I mean, they all do, but this just screams 'pengu gets offed, Fen is disturbed, Lamb gives absolutely no fucks, figuratively or literally, which disturbs Fen even further'.

Sometimes there are two sides to every story.

And sometimes there are those who are willing to give up and negotiate, while others dont see it.

I have a feeling we might see Lamb with some flaws. Because of what she went through, all she likely see is nothing but red whenever she sees or here's about these guys.

Crazy...idea but what if they saw a large dragon head staring at them through the wall and she grabbed the um..cargo with hadalen forcing the slavers out? Does seem like nobody in this universe is crazy enough to mess with a dragon or are slavers perhaps that brave?

They just might stand their ground because dragon = fire and the solarin mage likes fire.

hmm and an ice dragon may be weak to fire so even more so.... hmm. Maybe Fen's going to quietly try snatching all the cargo with hadalen while nobody's watching? Truly am curious but I'll just wait and find out lol

The others probably aren't, but considering how the boss still thinks they can get away and with all the slaves too, even after having six of his subordinates offed, and another almost losing their arm, he'd probably make them try to attack the 'dragon' anyway, specially if he thinks selling whatever body parts of the dragon they can carry will be enough to 'compensate' for the 'lost revenue';

Also the way the slaves are spread around on the cave makes hard for Fen to grab all of them before they either attack her, or kill the remaining ones. Only way I can see is Fen finding a way to neutralize the slavers without outright killing or hurting them, and take the distraction as a way to either bring the slaves outside, or have Lamb get in the cave and deal with the slavers before they noticed what hit 'em.

The slavers are all together and perhaps easier for Fen to drive out; but she has to verify the other two hostages first (they are not in the picture).
That teleporting trick really takes its toll. She needs more 'stamina lessons' with Mis.

Hmmm… just realised something. When the little guy is talking about ‘precious cargo’, he seems to be pointing towards that particular slave. I notice that she is bound and gagged, unlike the other slaves in the panel beforehand. I’m wondering therefore if there is more to her than simply being just another slave.

Considering her tail has blue, she's likely a mage. Can't be too careful around those, as they're about to find out.

I thought that too but it looks like the underside is blue, not the tip, and how magic was explained before its always at the end of a body part (( eg. tail tips, 'socks', 'gloves', fen's fingers) and not a stripe or marking somewhere .

Yeah, but it's hard to tell for sure from that angle, and any color on a tail would have me suspicious if I was a slaver, so precautions would be taken. She's also dressed better, so there may be other important info about her we don't know. I was just suggesting one reason.

I like to think there's more to this story of why join.
