River Hunter Clan - Ceremonial outfits
The Fire Hunt " Umililo Ami" is a very important event during the summer seasons at the Clan's territory, it's the great migration of the Ja' Tekuantin "water beasts" . The Clan hunts them using fire to drive them off to the nearest traps and take them down , it's not a brutal execution but is respectful, the Hunter's only take down the weak or sickest of the herd , leaving the young,healthy and pregnant ones to live .
Translation to the prayer:
Welcome water beasts
Here To feed the clan
We will hunt with respect
Fire bird help us hunt
For our people
Mighty water beasts

(After saying this prayer the singers mimic the call of a Vy'drach)
Dance :
Called the Umililo Óok'ot " fire dance" is participated by men and women of the Clan, sometimes early teen kids will join too.
Men's dance part : the men imitate a Vy'drach looking for its prey then followed by a 3 by 6 step rhythm while cycling around a bonfire
Women's dance part : the women have a more elegant dance but still beginning as the Vy'drach looking for its prey , followed by a 5 by 10 step dance with the difference of a ankle shaking gestures, usually dance around their mate or to un-mated situations they dance around their desirable mate or someone they like
Both men and women dance part:
When the first parts of the dance are over both men and women will dance together ,miss 4-6-2 step dance side by side while holding torches
Music :
Flute and drum symphony mimicking the trotting of the Ja' TuTekuantin
Like : thump - thump -4 second pause- thump-thump -4 second pause - and repeated during the whole ceremony
Facts :
• Ua'stbih-Ich is leading the ceremonies prayers and mostly organizes it depending on the month ( mostly difference is melodies and symbols are drawn to the participants)
• The skin of the Ja' TuTekuantin is used to make casual armors and Ceremonial outfits
• The Fire Dance is always at night times during a crescent Moons
• No powerful drinks are served so hunters can have their full focus during the hunt
• A'achti always participates along side Ayya since both are excellent horse riders
• The hunt is usually on day times but can occur at night too
• The Ja' TuTekuantins have a cold blooded system and hate the fire's heat so they avoid it
