Sponge effect go. More practice with the brush, definitely. That is a tedious craziness, to say the least. Larger size seems to work best for me currently, but until I cough up the cash for a Winsor&Newton i'll be fiddling for a bit.

Anyway, pencils on bristol, then well inks. Mix of Micron and a lot of brush. The texture effect is from a sponge, lol. Got a pack of them at Michael's today, thought would be good to fiddle with it for now. Levels altered in Photoshop CS5.
