Primagen sales have been discontinued because Koinu (th creator of the species) was unconfutable with their prices, and she is offering extra art with these higher prices, you can see the art packs go up to 20+ pieces of HQ art for each character bought.
as for MYO, this is a type of way to cover the cost and time it takes to run a community like we have. it takes a lot of work to make these things happen, and if an artist gets to profit off of their own creative ideas, we dont see it as a bad thing. no one is forced to buy these MYOs, they are just a symbol of gratitude to her as a creator.

Of course that no one is forced to buy, but you guys know perfectly well how popular protogens are!

There are thousands of species' communities that don't need to sell an myo for 300$ each to keep the community running. Some of them are even open or semi-open species communities.

Protogen/Primagen community is as toxic as the Scarfox's one and the owners act similarly too.
