This was a very fun and unique piece to do. After almost a year on dA and 4 months on FA I've only seen two other pieces like this, that is actually showing the baby in utero. One was a con badge on FA, the other was The creature within' piece by leokitsune that I colored. Ever since sex-ed in 7th grade its always amazed me that if 2 cells meet up under the right conditions and are given a bit of time, they can create an entirly new life. It just blows my mind how it's possible.
Anyways, the picture itself. There was no color scheme so Kairyu-shin told me that I could have at it. I wanted to do something that wasn't generic, but wasn't a freak of natire, so I looked up adoptables on dA and found a color scheme I liked :giggle:. I hope he doesn't mind, but I added a few detials that I thought enhanced the picture, such as the transparent sections on the top and bottom, the umbilical cord and the 'socks' of fur on his feet. Note to self Never do an image search for 'umbilical cord. Yeah...... not my best idea. Forgive my inaccuracy on it, I had to construct it from memory alone.
