This mostly came from growing up in Old London slums, where the female culture made her feel ashamed to be a stripper and gave her a warped narrative on what a woman **SHOULD** be rather than letting the choice be up to the individual.

But years later, after she and her husband dealt with the horrors of the Jacob Corporation, Joline had a whole new sense of self, and a new ideal for herself. She had since made amends with her step daughter and husband, and even had a daughter of her own, Alvine.
These days Joline looks like she's had some serious work done, but for her, this is just how she always wanted to be deep down. The truth of herself revealed by Quantum Ascension.

The more she gave in to her submissive side, the more she loved it.
