I love how subtly and yet sharply you point out some changes in your characters' designs when they change. This piece does explain the recent change in how Merryweather looks quite nicely, not to mention the additional depth it provides for the relationship of Christy and the bully.
Composition of this comic also inspires me. It is very fluid and soft: no strict borders, yet there is no confusion about which shot follows which. It has kind of a sloppy look with how characters fade out sharply and shot lines appear to be an odd part of a background, but it seems to add to the comfy, cartoony atmosphere. Not to mention details and nice touches such as shadow, silhouette-like reformation in the background, cricks and cracks Merrywheather has to give his bones, stiff after quite some gurgling, and, of course, these expressive muzzles! ^^

Aaa thank ya! Definitely nice to notice folks are keeping track of the vague continuity I've had with my characters! XD
The composition of my comics is definitely something I've been working on for ages.
If you take a look at my earliest comics, like all the way back in 2010, you can kinda see me trying to do the same thing, but this has really only been a thing I've been able to perfect digitally. TwT

I see. I guess every artist bathes in bliss, having the world they have created within their hearts explored with vivid interest by others. ^^
I can see it too, glad to have gotten the confirmation from you! This is but one of skills you have been honing through years of study and work: as they tend, they develop simultaneously. And in their collaborative glory your composition, facial expressions, art of onomatopoeia, firm and fine lines shine the best! ^^ In case you wish to acquire the same skill not only in digital art, but in traditional as well, I wish you all the strength, durability, patience, time and inspiration it will take to achieve this noble goal! Seeing how far you have gone through all these years I have much sincere faith in you.
