Masha The Mouse (Fairytale)
Masha and thumbnail belong to my beloved sister
MashaTheMouse
Masha was a little blue mouse
Who one day went out her house
She said to herself in such a good mood
“I’m going on a walk to the woods!”
Despite her tiny size, Masha was bold
Plus, she had a heart of gold
As she was walking through a glade
Though she was alone, Masha wasn’t afraid
A long tailed weasel stood in her way
His head was down and he looked dismayed
“I have to help him” Masha reckoned,
And she wasted not a single second
Masha asked the weasel: Why so sad?
It’s a bright, sunny day, you should be glad!
“It’s Mrs. Bunny.” he said, shedding a tear
“I can’t get her to love me, I fear”
Upon hearing this, Masha took pity
“Don’t worry, Mr. Weasel. I’ll get you all pretty!”
Masha combed his fur and brushed his teeth
She even cut the claws of his feet!
“There you go!” Masha said when she finished
“With that look, you’ll leave Mrs. Bunny astonished”
Masha grabbed the weasel’s paw, and with confidence
Together they headed to Mrs. Bunny’s residence
Masha stood at the door and knocked
Then she heard it getting unlocked
When it opened, Mrs. Bunny popped out her head
“To what do I owe the pleasure?” she said
“Nothing.” Masha said, her eyes looking glittery
“I just came to bring you a special delivery!”
With this said, the weasel walked in
Clean and fancy, and his smile had a gleam!
“My dear Mrs. Bunny” the weasel asked her
“Do you want to become my lifelong partner?”
Mrs. Bunny looked charmed, and excited, too!
“Yes!” she said. “I certainly do!”
After a kiss, weasel and bunny went inside
And Masha left the place, truly satisfied
She walked through the forest, not a worry in her mind
But she was unaware of what she was about to find!
Upon a big wolf Masha happened to stumble!
But he wasn’t a bad wolf, he was kind and humble
“What’s wrong, Mr. Wolf? Why the long face?”
“I have no friends, of doubt there’s not a trace”
“Why?” Masha asked. “You’re sweet, I think.”
“My face is scary, and my feet stink”
“That’s not true! Your face is soft as fleece
And your feet smell like tasty cheese!”
“You think so?” the wolf asked, surprised
“For sure!” Masha said. “You’re really nice!
If you want, I’ll be your friend
And we’ll be together until the end!”
When he heard this, the wolf howled joyfully
He grabbed Masha and hugged her tightly
They ran, played and had fun all day
And to Masha’s house they went on their way
Since that day the wolf was no longer alone
For with Masha he had finally found a home
The two friends lived a life full of joy and laughter
And everyone lived happily ever after!
