In the frigid solitude of the snowy mountains far, far away, your cries echo endlessly for only the arctic spires to hear.
You long for the comfort and compassion of others, yet resent all the world's unrelenting cruelty has given you.
Day lasts no longer than a passing dream, as darkness swallows the landscape like a nightmare that never ends.
When all you have is what you are, and all you want is what you will never have, there's nothing more to gain and nothing more to lose...
Now that it's 2011, I really want to make a conscious effort to improve my art even more than I did in 2010. One of the first steps is switching from Flash to do my drawings in. I'm going to try to use Paint Tool SAI instead, and this is my first drawing in it.
Took me a few days to get this drawn just the way I wanted. Almost all of it was done with the paint brush tool, which has such beautiful blending compared to anything else I've used. I do need to play around with brushes and other effects, but for now, I'm happy with this and consider it to be a large leap forward in my art as opposed to a paltry single step. One can only hope I will do more soon.
1920x1080 version available in my InkBunny Gallery. Looks sexy as a wallpaper.

Wow, that looks really good. I can see how the change in program changed the quality of your art. Also, I think that caption you wrote with the picture was real deep. I felt a little depressed after reading it. That was serious stuff. I was wondering if that Sneasel in the picture represented you because of your avatar being a Sneasel.
As gloomy as the picture is, it really is beautiful. The feelings coming off of it are very strong, and though the expression seems only a little disappointed you get the feeling there is more he isn't showing. Wonderful artist comment as well.
You really put a lot of time into this picture and it shows, it really is a huge leap for your 2011 art. Keep it up!

I guess the eyes could be drawn in more detail, as the whole thing is full of details..
How to put it.... maybe the style of the eyes didn't match with the whole drawing?
I just noticed, your avatar's Sneasel's eyes are somewhat similar to these.
However your avatar's eyes work (somewhat) more than this drawing's.
Perhaps the eyes would look better when it is larger. (The style in your avatar is different though.)
(English is my second language, so the grammar may be massed up, I apologize.)

Your caption really managed to move me. Good job with it. It usually takes pretty much to get me crawl in the "emo-corner", but you managed to do it. And THAT, sir, is a huge compliment.
Anyway, I like the pic, it really gives of the solitude of the sneasel (you). Makes me want to go and comfort him with a huggle.
