There's a mildly popular game I came across a few months ago called Crimson Moon. It's a text based MMORPG in which you play as either a vampire, werewolf, or hybrid and, basically, wander around and fight stuff.
Recently, a new server was made. In this new server, your character is no longer lead around by links, and basically moves around an in-game map, narrated by the games text. I decided to give this new server a shot, to see if it was any better then the original. Leo was just being developed, so as reference, I made a werewolf character named after him.
Now, in this game, you character has several status bars. Health, energy, and most relevant to this, Hunger. As the games time progresses, your characters hunger bar fills. After some time, his hunger gets in the way of your fights. In order to lower your hunger, you have to take your character to the games diner and stuff some food down into their belly. The problem with this?
I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE THE FUCKING DINER IS!!
In order to find ANYTHING on the games map, you have to go searching for it on a grid that's over 100x100. There are no in-game clues to the location of any of the games landmarks, and it's against the rules for other players to tell you. So basically, you have to stumble around for hours, praying that you aren't obliterated by some other in-game event before you get there.
Needless to say, I never found the diner, and poor Leo hasn't had a bite to eat since he got to the game
This pic was made in response to my in-game situation. It seems Leo has made a trip to the in-game location of Melenia. Problem is, it seems no one was willing to help him find a place he could get some food and keep his lovable figure intact. A few days later, it seems the big lug isn't so big anymore. Poor Leo. Getting all that fat back'll be a challenge. Or will it...?
For those of you interested in trying the game, it can be found here http://cmrpg.net/
